Munggu Tourism Village is considered one of the more developed villages in Badung Regency. Munggu is famous for several outstanding attractions including nature, culture, tradition, education, and healing.
The natural attractions include beautiful beaches, while the culture and traditions attract many visitors. One of the most fascinating traditions is Mekotek, a ritual still preserved today to ward off misfortune. What makes this tradition unique is its procession, where local people gather carrying polet wooden sticks, believed to symbolize fighting spirit. During the event, one member of the community climbs a tower constructed from these wooden sticks.

Educational tourism includes surf lessons, and healing tourism offers treatment for rheumatism using the gray sand from Munggu Beach, which is believed to have healing properties based on the Balinese concept of sekala-niskala (the seen and unseen).
