GWK Wins First Place for Best Cleanest Toilet at the Wonderful Indonesia Awards 2025

The Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia held the Wonderful Indonesia Awards (WIA) 2025 as a form of appreciation for tourism actors and stakeholders who have contributed significantly to advancing national tourism that is high-quality, impactful, and highly competitive.

The Wonderful Indonesia Awards is not only an awarding event but also an instrument of change that strengthens collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure that the direction of national tourism development remains sustainable and quality-oriented.

During the awarding night, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), located in Badung Regency, Bali, successfully won 1st Place in the Best Cleanest Toilet category. This achievement is a testament to GWK’s strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and high service standards in its public facilities for visitors.

In addition to GWK, 2nd Place was awarded to Aloha Pasir Putih in Tangerang Regency, Banten, while 3rd Place went to Dairyland Farm Theme Park Puncak in Bogor Regency, West Java.

The Ministry of Tourism expressed that this award is expected to serve as motivation for all tourist destinations in Indonesia to continue improving service quality, particularly in providing public facilities that are clean, healthy, and visitor-friendly. GWK’s accomplishment further strengthens the position of Badung Regency as one of Indonesia’s leading national tourist destinations.
