The Mekotek tradition returned to Munggu Village on Saturday, 29 November 2025 as part of the Kuningan Day celebrations. Early in the morning, villagers prepared wooden pulet sticks, ceremonial offerings, and held prayers at Pura Puseh to ask for a smooth and safe procession.

After the prayer, young men lifted the wooden sticks to form a large cone structure while performing the toktokan ritual, symbolizing courage and the victory of dharma. The procession then moved around the village accompanied by baleganjur music, watched by residents and visitors.

The event concluded with a final prayer at Pura Puseh. The Mekotek tradition stands as a symbol of strength, harmony, and unity within the Munggu community, preserved across generations.
