Pura Sada or Pura Sada Kapal is one of the famous kahyangan jagat temples of Bali Island which is precisely located in Kapal Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The name of Pura Sada is an abbreviation of the word “Prasada”. This temple is a temple building that is slender, overlapping roof and high like a tower. The shape of such a temple is a type of East Javanese temple (Majapahit golden age around the 14th century), Even Prasada and bentar temples in this temple are recognized as cultural heritage sites that must be protected. The highest Prasada temple reaches 16 meters with its eleven-tiered roof. Piodalan at Pura Sada is routinely held every six months to coincide with Tumpek Kuningan day and nyejer lasts for three days.
